2026-2027 Boys Tryouts

Boys 13U–18U · 2026–2027 Club Tryouts

We teach the details.
We build competitors.
We know every athlete.

Vegas Volley is for families who want their son coached, not managed. He’ll get technical teaching, honest feedback, real performance support, and a team culture that makes him want to come back tomorrow.

Our Solutions. The Vegas Volley Difference.

Coaching that actually teaches

The frustration: “Move your feet” and random reps don’t explain how to improve.

Vegas Volley: Coach Adam’s system builds body awareness, better mechanics, and habits that hold up under pressure.

Straight answers for families

The frustration: Parents spend the season guessing where their son stands.

Vegas Volley: Honest feedback, clear expectations, and coaches you can actually reach.

Recruiting with a real guide

The frustration: Families get a platform login and are told to figure it out.

Vegas Volley: Coach Paul brings Team USA and Long Beach State experience to the film, tools, outreach, and decisions.

Your son won’t disappear

The frustration: Athletes become numbers in a crowded gym.

Vegas Volley: We’re smaller by design. Coaches learn his game, his goals, and the adjustment he needs next.

The point after the mistake

The frustration: Confidence and composure are treated like personality traits.

Vegas Volley: Coach Adam turns resilience, communication, and pressure response into skills boys can practice.

Serious volleyball can still be fun

The frustration: Some gyms confuse fear with accountability.

Vegas Volley: We want to win, and we believe trust, joy, and strong relationships help athletes compete better.

Coach KyleCoach Kyle · Strength & Conditioning Director

This isn’t a generic workout from a personal trainer.

Coach Kyle previously directed Strength & Conditioning at Cal State San Bernardino. Your son’s physical development is guided by someone who has prepared college athletes and understands that volleyball has its own demands.

Train what shows up on the courtJumping, landing, changing direction, shoulder health, trunk control, and producing force safely.
Recovery is part of the planThe goal is not to exhaust boys for show. It is to help them train consistently, recover intelligently, and stay ready.
College-level expertise before collegeMost club athletes do not meet a performance professional with Kyle’s background until much later, if they ever do.

Tryout FAQs

Who should attend boys tryouts?
Boys in the 13U–18U age divisions are welcome. Your son does not need to arrive as a finished player. We evaluate current skill, movement, effort, communication, competitiveness, coachability, and how he treats teammates.
What should my son bring?
Athletic clothing, court shoes, any knee pads or braces he normally uses, and a willingness to compete and listen. We will provide snacks and water for athletes attending multiple club tryouts.
What does it cost to play at Vegas Volley?
Complete 2026–2027 pricing details are coming soon. We will clearly explain club fees, apparel, inclusions, travel responsibility, and payment options so families can make a fair comparison.
How competitive will Vegas Volley be?
We want to win, games keep score for a reason. We also refuse to confuse “competitive” with making athletes afraid to fail. Teams will compete at the right level while coaches teach the details that move performance.
What is planned for the program?
The planned experience includes technical coaching, mentality training, strength and conditioning support, recruiting guidance and tools for applicable ages, match film and performance resources, team culture, and competition. Final inclusions will be confirmed with pricing and season information.
How does recruiting support work?
Recruiting is a process, not a promise. Applicable athletes receive education, film and profile tools, tournament exposure, and guidance from Coach Paul, a former USA Men’s National Team libero with Long Beach State experience. No responsible club can guarantee a roster spot or scholarship.
What does “family-oriented” mean?
It means coaches know the boys and parents know who to call. It does not mean low standards. Trust and clear communication make honest coaching, accountability, strong friendships, and demanding competition possible.
What if my son is nervous or newer to club volleyball?
Nerves are normal. One mistake will not decide his evaluation. We want to see him compete, listen, communicate, and try the next adjustment. Newer families are welcome at the parent meeting and encouraged to ask questions.
How can I ask a question before tryouts?
Email letsvolley@vegasvolley.com or call/text (702) 758-3313. We are happy to help you decide whether this is the right opportunity.

Let him experience the gym for himself.
