Hi! My name is Olivia Arroyo and I have been playing volleyball for 6 years. I made varsity my freshman year and won offensive player of the year my sophomore season. I am currently the captain of my club team and have a 4.0 gpa. I love volleyball and have so much fun playing with a team. Outside of volleyball, I love to swim and spend time with family and friends. I like to watch Netflix shows and workout at the gym.
#22 Setter
Hello. I am Sydney Colgate, and I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade. I’m a 5’5 setter, and have a great attitude on and off the court. I am continually reaching for new goals I have set for myself in the classroom and on the court. I have interests in photography and enjoy being in the kitchen with my family. This year I was a JV starting setter at Coronado High School and I am currently playing on an 18’s team at 15. I love the team aspect of the game and love getting to know new people I meet through volleyball. I also love the amazing community that is built through our sport. I always push myself to succeed academically, mentally, and physically.

Hi! My name is Marissa Gamble, I have been playing volleyball for 5 years now and was MVP my sophmore year at Liberty High School in Henderson, NV. I have been playing in the 18’s division since my freshman year and I can say it has made me a stronger and more experienced player. Outside of volleyball I focus on my academics. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am looking to pursue a very ambitious career in the medical field. I was nominated for the Board of Future Medical Leaders award due to my consistently high grades in all my science classes. I am also a part of the National Society of High School Scholars which allows me to have access to a lot of academic scholarships. I love the outdoors and find a good escape when I go hiking at spots around Las Vegas, as well as going to the lake and camping.

Libero
Hi! My name is Sasha Gilson. I have been playing this sport for 10 years.
#10 Setter
Starting off as a child, I was motivated to play volleyball because people in my family would play in front of me. The biggest motivation that really pulled me toward the game of volleyball was my uncle. He may have only played all four years of high school, but he taught me most of the game and I later self-taught myself. As I pursued the game of volleyball, my first organized volleyball team was my freshman year of high school at Sierra Vista High School.
#16 Opposite / Defensive Specialist
Hi, my name is Olivia Morris and I have been playing volleyball for nine years. During my freshman year of high school, I earned an MVP coach’s award after playing as a starting middle. I pride myself on my academic performance throughout my years at school and have been nominated for a Future Medical Professionals Award and other achievement awards through school as well. I won a district wide art show, showcasing my photography skills. I have been playing the violin for six years and have won multiple Solo and Ensemble awards.

#17 Middle Blocker
Hi, I’m Isabella Shuler. I’m in the class of 2022 and have been playing volleyball for eight years. I love playing and want to continue in college. Being a student athlete has taught me to work hard and be determined. Athletics and academics are both very important to me. I have a 5.058 GPA and have received the AP Scholar with Honor and the AP Scholar with Distinction awards. In college, I want to be able to balance both of the important aspects of my life.
#6 Middle Blocker / Outside Hitter
My name is Sydney Smith, I’ve been playing volleyball for 8 years and have played in an 18U division since I was 14. I attend Liberty High School where I have played 2 years on Varsity and became a starting opposite as a Junior the year we became State Runners up. I also have an interest in sand volleyball where I earned a bid to play in Santa Monica for the West Coast Annual AAU sand tournament in 2019. Some interests of mine consist of photography, art, and journalism, and I hope to study journalism as a future career. I spend a lot of my free time outdoors: hiking, swimming, going on bike rides, or spending time at the beach with my friend’s and family.
