Hello I’m Coach Archie!

Volleyball has been a passion of mine for over 10 years now. I started as an athlete that could not serve over the net to save her life. After finding amazing coaches and working hard to improve, I fell in love with the sport. Through many trials and tribulations, volleyball was always my escape from reality.

At 15 years old, I set my mind to playing Division 1 volleyball in college. By the end of my freshman year in high school, I had my first college offer which started my recruiting journey. My junior year, I achieved my goal and committed to play Division 1 volleyball. My career ended with an injury, but now I get to be on the coaching side and watch my own players commit to their dream colleges to play volleyball. 

Throughout the years, I learned a lot about that little space six inches between the ears and how my mental game needed to improve. When I started coaching in 2018, I made it a goal to not only boost my athletes’ confidence on the court, but teach them about how preparing mentally will change the game immensely. I also struggled in the beginning of my recruiting process because my parents did not play college sports and I am their only child. This was a learning process for all of us. As a result, another goal I have is provide my athletes the guidance they need to the best of my abilities in their search for a college to play for. Many athletes think that there aren’t enough colleges for them to play at, that they aren’t good enough to play in college, or that if they don’t go D1, they are a failure. ALL ARE FALSE!!! From a former player (and now your coach) to my future players, I would love nothing more than to see you succeed in all aspects of life and watch you play in college if that is your goal.
